Microsoft Office comes to Symbian Belle

The cooperation between Microsoft and Nokia are gradually bearing fruit. Soon, users of the operating system Symbian ^ 3 Belle have access to a set of office applications, Microsoft Office. The first part of the package will be released later this year, and the second – at the beginning of 2012.

Updates will be distributed free of charge. Microsoft Office applications will receive smartphones such as Nokia 700, Nokia 701 and Nokia 603.

The first update will include the following applications: Microsoft OneNote for taking notes, PowerPoint Broadcast for the webcast presentations, Microsoft Document Connection for managing files stored in the “clouds” and the Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile to communicate with clients and colleagues. The second update, which appears in the first months of 2012, will receive a “native” support documents Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
