MSI’s GT683DX gaming laptop

MSI has now unveiled its second (the first was the GT780R) 15.6-inch notebook based on the platform Huron River and a graphics card GeForce GTX 570M with 1.5GB of video memory. New weighs 3.5kg GT683DX, clad in scratch-resistant casing and has a built-in LED illumination. Available – proprietary technologies TDE (Turbo Drive Engine) and Cooler Boost, which should help to disperse and effective cooling, as well as the Cinema Pro, which improves picture quality when watching movies.


Iron fillings include new Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and LED-backlit display, CPU Core i7-2630QM with a frequency of 2.0GHz, the already mentioned GeForce GTX 570M, DVD or Blu-ray drive, gigabit network adapter module 802.11 b / g / n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0, HD webcam, 2.1 channel audio Dynaudio, multi-format memory card reader, two USB 3.0 ports and a 9-cell battery.

Storage system provides several options: either to install up to two 750GB hard drives, or 120GB SSD and a single 500/750Gb hard drive.

MSI has not indicated the final cost of the product, but the version with 4 GB of memory, 500GB hard disk drive and DVD drive is now available for preorder at a price of 1265 euros.
